1. Clacton Tenancy

Clacton vehicle rentals are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement provided with your booking confirmation or at the time of vehicle collection. This agreement outlines the terms, conditions, insurance cover, charges, and your responsibilities for the particular rental. If any conflict arises between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail for that rental.

2. Clacton Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Clacton, you must:

• Be at least 21 years old for Clacton rentals (age restrictions can vary by vehicle type, and additional charges may apply to drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of address, together with an accepted payment card at the time of collection.

3. Clacton Booking and Payment

• Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Clacton location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. 4. Vehicle Collection and Return — Clacton

• On collection from Clacton, inspect the vehicle and report any pre-existing damage to staff without delay. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and a Clacton representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as received, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage identified on return will be evaluated and the cost charged to the hirer.

5. Insurance and Liability — Clacton

• Basic third-party insurance is included with all Clacton rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are provided in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial liability. We recommend reviewing these carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the applicable excess amount.

6. Cancellation and Updates

Clacton’s cancellation and amendment terms vary by booking type and required notice period. Refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for the specific provisions that apply. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur fees.

7. Clacton Prohibitions

You must not use the Clacton rental vehicle for:

• Any illegal purpose or activity with a Clacton vehicle. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting to third parties or allowing unauthorized drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Purposes for which the vehicle is not designed...

Violating Clacton restrictions may result in immediate rental termination and extra charges.

8. Clacton Liability Limits

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Clacton Vehicle Hire Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant service.

9. Governing Law (Clacton)

These terms for Clacton are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.

10. Changes to Clacton Terms
